Sales Engineer


Aegis Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer to strengthen and expand our growing power electronics hardware manufacturing business. Candidate must have a strong electrical engineering background in AC-DC and DC-DC power conversion, in addition to measurable sales experience.
The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving domestic sales growth by fostering new and existing relationships with customers. The best candidate will have strong oral and written English communication skills, a tenacity to reach goals, creative problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.


• Work closely with customers and engineering team to develop integrated power conversion solutions for AC-DC and DC-DC applications
• Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of product catalog
• Prepare proposal presentation materials such as spec sheets, slide shows, and technical reports
• Write and submit quotations for standard and custom products
• Develop BOM for custom solutions, including parts research
• Answer technical and pricing questions from leads
• Maintain customer data in CRM software
• Maintain product data in quoting software
• Continually develop and implement sales process improvements
• Prepare sales forecasts and reports using viable metrics and analysis
• Contribute to overall strategic sales objectives
• Represent company at annual domestic trade show events
• Meet with clients and leads in face-to-face, phone, and video conference meetings
• Maintain on-going awareness of competitive climate
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education, Skills, & Experience

• 5 years’ industry-related work history with measurable sales experience
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar technical field (may be waived with extensive work experience)
• Strong ability to understand engineering documents
• Experience with designing power electronics
• Ability to explain technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences (engineering, buyers, etc.)
• Working knowledge of military, automotive, and telecom standards (vibration, shock, EMI, environmental, etc.)

Compensation Details

Job type: Full-time
Location: Remote (must reside in USA)
Travel: Regular training/meetings at our headquarters in Murphy, NC + travel to domestic client meetings
Compensation: Base Salary + High Commissions + Bonuses + Benefits
Base salary range commensurate with experience
