We showcased several of our high voltage and high power products for power conversion at the recent annual Ground Vehicle Systems Engineering and Technology Symposium (GVSETS) in August 2026. These products may be used in a variety of defense applications which may include ground vehicles onboard and export power, advanced turret control systems, radar and sensing systems, counter unmanned air systems (C-UAS), energy storage systems, embedded computing, and more.
There was a push from presenters to convey the need for strong manufacturing capability and quick-turn availability of systems and components across a wide variety of technology solutions. We’ve shared before that power conversion is a key enabler across nearly every electronics system out there! However, it is also one of the critical components that may need some special attention from system designers. Our discussions with customers focused on understanding how higher efficiency and other performance characteristics can yield important savings on size, weight, and reduction of system components. We also advised customers that electromagnetic interference across the wide spectrum of MIL-STD-461 is still a top-requested requirement for power conversion equipment. We recommend systems engineers reach out to discuss particular design constraints early so we can advise on the best trade-offs. Working with the combined knowledge of the Aegis Power Systems design and manufacturing teams allows our customers to meet speed without compromising requirements.
